At Katikati College our focus is on our pedagogy; to improve all student outcomes and accelerate the outcomes of our Maori students.

By following the guiding principles of the College Charter, and working according to our Strategic Plan, we will ensure that all students are provided an education which enhances their learning, builds on their needs and respects their dignity.   • Academic Programme

    Katikati College offers a full range of academic subjects at every level, including all national examination preparation classes at Years 11, 12 and 13. Students can study academic subjects such as English, Mathematics, Statistics, DVC (Graphics), Art, Art Design, Photography, Drama, Media Studies, Music, History, Geography, Classics, Te Reo Māori, Lea Faka Tonga, Innovative Horticulture, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Earth Science, Sports Science, Health Studies, Business Studies, Education for Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Fabric Technology, Digital Technology and Engineering Technology. Other subjects available include Farming, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), Pasifika Studies, Hospitality, Carpentry and Tourism.
