At Katikati College our focus is on our pedagogy; to improve all student outcomes and accelerate the outcomes of our Maori students.

Katikati College offers a full range of academic subjects at every level, including all national examination preparation classes at Years 11, 12 and 13. Students can study academic subjects such as English, Mathematics, Statistics, DVC (Graphics), Art, Art Design, Photography, Drama, Media Studies, Music, History, Geography, Classics, Te Reo Māori, Lea Faka Tonga, Innovative Horticulture, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Earth Science, Sports Science, Health Studies, Business Studies, Education for Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Fabric Technology, Digital Technology and Engineering Technology. Other subjects available include Farming, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), Pasifika Studies, Hospitality, Carpentry and Tourism.

The Health and Physical Education Faculty offers a range of academic and active courses at all levels.
The Faculty of Language and Literacies offers pathways for students to develop their language and culture in English and EAL (English as an Additional Language), te reo Māori, Lea Faka Tonga and Pasifika studies.
The Mathematics and Statistics Faculty offers a wide range of courses in these two subjects to suit different academic pathways.
The Science Faculty offers a range of courses in General Science across Years 7-13, as well as Biology, Chemistry and Physics at Years 12-13, and Horticulture at Years 11-13.
The Social Sciences Faculty offers a wide range of subjects and courses, all linked to people, societies and how they work.
The Technology Faculty offers a diverse range of academic and hands-on courses in fabric, food, wood, metal and digital technologies.
Arts and Culture includes a wide range of visual and performing arts both in and outside of the classroom. Te toi whakairo, ka ihiihi, ka wehiwehi, ka aweawe te ao katoa. Artistic excellence makes the world sit up in wonder.
